- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Flansham Health Centre, West Sussex. The surgery at this health centre has to be experienced byall patients to realise what a wonderful, personal attitude and attention to care exists among every doctor, nurse, medical attendant together with it's attendant administration staff. I have been a patient at this surgery for some ten years with visits for a variety of medical matters, mostly associated with moving into the later era of my life. I introduced my late wife as a patient in late 2002 where she was soon diagnosed to have cancer. It has to be said that the medical care she received locally was truly magnificent and I must pay due tribute to all who work there - not only when my wife was alive but also to the friendliness and help received by me at the surgery in connection with my medical needs through the years. Indeed, I reckon that I must be costing the NHS an appreciable (and increasing) amount of money but then, what would we all be doing if the NHS never existed ? I recall it's inception in the late '40,s by Aneuran Bevan and have been grateful for it's ongoing accessibility to all the population.
